LAURELLO, BARTON “BART” Barton “Bart” Laurello, 85, ( retired Lt. NHFD) beloved husband of 62 years to Rose Silvestro Laurello of East Haven, passed away August 1, 2015 in CT Hospice. Loving father of David (Lauren) Laurello of Westford, MA, Debbie (Bruce) Bushell of East Haven and Susan (John) DePalma of Guilford. Cherished grandfather of Michael and Jennifer Laurello, Sarah and Erica DePalma. Son of the late Clement and Rose Mailhot Laurello. Brother of Marie Murphy of Wallingford and Clement Laurello, Jr. of East Haven. Prior to his retirement, Bart was a Lieutenant with the New Haven Fire Department, a Letter Carrier with the US Postal Service and also worked in security in the Sterling Library at Yale University. The Laurello family would like to thank the Staff at CT Hospice for their many acts of care and kindness. His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80), East Haven Thursday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints cemetery.
