It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bertrand "Bert" Joseph Turmel Jr., 54, on July 31, 2025.
Bert was born on January 16, 1971 in Bridgeport but spent most of his life in Milford. In November 2021, he married the love of his life, Dorothy Hope Piselli and they made their home in East Haven.
Bert loved his Harley Davidson and gardening - his lawn was the greenest in the neighborhood. Bert spent his life working as a carpenter. He was a dependable friend and devoted family man.
Bert is survived by his devoted wife, Dorothy, his son Travis, daughter-in-law, Vanessa, grandchildren Travis (TJ) and Genevieve. He also leaves his cherished Aunt Mariette & Uncle Ronnie Vigilio, cousins Christine and Raymond, dog Bella and cat Pepper. Bert was predeceased in death by his father Bertrand Sr., his Grandparents - Val and Theresa Turmel, and his beloved daughter Lyndsey. We find comfort in knowing Bert and Lyndsey are now reunited in paradise.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 26 Broadway, Milford, CT 06460 on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10:30 am, where Bert's urn will be available for viewing.
