Carolyn Carrano Obituary
In Hamden March 11, 2025 Carolyn M. Carrano, 88, of Hamden, formerly of New Haven and East Haven. Loving mother of Michael Carrano of Hamden. Predeceased by her brother Dr. Robert N. Reynolds and his wife Marilyn, a sister Hillary Burr and a nephew Robert Reynolds. Carolyn was born in New Haven December 5, 1936 daughter of the late Peter J. and Genevieve Dillon Reynolds. She worked in banking for many years, eventually retiring from Webster Bank. A strong, independent woman, and a devoted mother, Carolyn was known for her sense of humor, her love of books and movies, and the uncanny ability to spot a bargain while shopping. Carolyn is also survived by her nephews Peter (Claudia) and William Reynolds, nieces Cathy (Rod) Swift and Maureen (Will) Musco, as well as many great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Calling hours are Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m. at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden.
