Mattia, Charles J.
Entered into rest, Aug. 1, 2018, Charles J. Mattia, 90 of Hamden; brother of James and John Mattia, the late Madeline Palmieri, Ann Edberg, Julie Gamon and Fannie Tyler; also survived by several nieces and nephews; born Aug. 24, 1927, son of the late John and Teresa Mattia. He had worked as a pattern maker at Strouse Adler, retiring after 44 years. Chuck was very well liked and will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends may call at MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME 592 Chapel St. Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church at 10 a.m. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Offer condolences at marescafuneralhome.com

Chuck was my uncle ed's Best friend for as long as I can remember. He and his family lived across the street from my mother's beauty shop on Edward street . Our casino trips will never be the same without him. I will miss my uncle chuck and may he rest in God's arms in peace. Love , Dorothy
