We were beyond shocked and surprise to hear this heartbreaking news, and offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Chris had become a dear friend to us over the last 5 years.
I went to school and lived in Connecticut for many years and now have a small cafe/ wine cellar and tea room in Madison Florida. We would share stories about delicious bakery and pizzeria, life and our families. He was not only a friend of ours but won over so many of our cafe patrons, with his smile, charm and easy going nature and laughter and became a regular and Loyalty Member to our cafe and Wine Cellar Tasting Room. Always so generous, donating bags of clothes to our winter coat drive, bringing lovely silverware to us and a few vintage pieces I cry thinking of. I will continue treasure and use as serving pieces.
We love you Chris. I'm blessed to have known you. Sharing some of our most recent photos from 2019.

Chris was my first friend when we moved to S Fl 25 years ago. He has always been there to fix things, share a meal, cook a meal, pop a cork, listen intently, offer advise or keep silent, send silly jokes, be the first to call to check in. I expect he is in Heaven now, building shelves, or in St Peter's kitchen preparing an amazing Italian meal. When we meet again, Christoforo...ti amo! Joanna, Boca Raton

Chris was my first real friend when we moved to S Fl., and remained a friend over the past 25 years. He was always ready to share a meal, cook a meal, pop a cork, fix things, listen intently, offer well-thought advice or keep silent, send silly jokes, lift your spirit. He will be missed on so many levels by so many of us he left behind. I expect he is building shelves in Heaven now and setting up St Peter's kitchen for an amazing Italian meal. When we meet again, Christoforo... ti amo.

We remember Chris from Beech St. He was such a great kid growing up next door. It was always a joy to see hem coming to our house through the woods or down the driveway. So sorry for your loss. He will be well remembered with fondness.
