Catrone, Christine M.
Christine Catrone of East Haven, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the age of 90. Christine was born in New Haven on April 13, 1930, to the late James Marino and Antoinette D'Amato Marino. She is survived by her brother James Marino Jr., daughter Frankie Dorgan, and three grandchildren Christine, Andrea, and Toni-Ann. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren Arielle, Carissa, William, David, Benjamin, and Jocelyn. She was predeceased by her brothers Pat Marino, Salvatore Marino, sister Madlyn Brumberger, her three children, Julia Catrone Moore, Linda Catrone, and Frank "Chi Chi" Catrone, as well as two grandchildren Joseph Russo and Janine Donovan. She enjoyed many years working with friends and family as a seamstress at Robby Len swimsuit company. After retirement, she moved to Messina Drive in East Haven where she lived for over 25 years. Christine was well known among the senior residents for creating a sense of community by organizing bingo games, card nights, and bus trips to the casinos. She will be dearly missed, and forever cherished by all who knew her. She will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery in West Haven, alongside her beloved family members who have gone before her.
