I well remember 'Connie' from our years at Wells College and from subsequent reunions. Her death leaves a hole in our class and in our hearts. May her family be held in God's embrace and in memories of her love for them.

Canon Constance Cole gifted the world with gentle dignity! As Canon for Ministry she cared so deeply for those who took the risk and presented themselves to discern a call to ordained ministry. She treated each nominee as well as those whom she encountered with grace and it was my honor to be a colleague of hers. Bill, Sarah, and Isaiah, she loved you so much! No, she LOVES you so much because death has no power over what she will always be to you and her loved ones. As you carry on in this "new: normal, may you always be strengthened and consoled by the Good Shepherd who knows what it means to fearlessly love, tirelessly seek, and tenderly comfort His sheep! Rest in peace Constance!

I offer my most heartfelt condolences to the family of a remarkable woman--a member of my sister class and of the Wells College Choir in which I too spent many joyous hours making music.
