Cynthia Hobson Obituary
Cynthia Louise Flavell Hobson, age 70, of Ansonia, entered into rest peacefully after months of health challenges on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Mid State Medical Center with her loving daughter Melanie by her side. She was born in Milford on August 9, 1948, daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Ross Flavell. Cynthia grew up in Milford, and then spent many years in East Haven raising her daughter and working for SNET. She loved to be with her family, especially with her grandchildren, who she loved and was very proud of. Cynthia will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts.
Her loving family includes her daughter Melanie and her husband Tom Waldron, Jr. of Woodbridge and her three cherished grandchildren Emma Ross Waldron, Thomas John Waldron, III and Reese Elisabeth Waldron.
A Memorial Service in Celebration of Cynthia's Life will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (Rt. 67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour. Friends and relatives may visit with the family from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Spring at the convenience of the family.
Memorial gifts in memory of Cynthia may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation through the funeral home.

Melanie, Sharon just told me of your mother's passing, this afternoon. I am sorry to hear it. She did enjoy the times she went out shopping with me at Big Y. It was a simple activity,going out with me, but she had fun, it seemed to me. Jane.
