I just found out about the passing of my friend Danny. While we drifted apart these past many years, I have the fondest memories of being best friends from grade school through college. He was always a happy go lucky individual and I can't recall him ever being in a bad mood. He and Rick were big music fans (as I remain), and Danny always kept me up to date with the latest bands which at that time included, Boston, Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Beach Boys to name just a few. I still have the original Boston first album and the original Lynyrd Skynyrd "Street Survivors" (with the flames) that Dan gave me when they first came out. We all used to spend a lot of time playing basketball and swimming up at the WHHS pool. I fondly remember going to the McDonald's on Orange Avenue after Church for which I drove his poor family nuts with my"plain" hamburger order, which in those days, was a special order and for which everyone had to wait. Rick used to tudor us in math and we visited Fairfield University many times. There is not a time that I pass by the West Haven Veteran's hospital that I don't remember going to the movies with Danny at the VA where his brother Rick was the projectionist.... and all the times we snuck into the Orange cinemas. I am so devastated to hear of his passing and so sorry that I missed the services. My prayers are with him and his family who are the most salt of the earth folks you could ever meet. Rest In Peace Dan and you will continue to live on in our memories !

Debbie, Christine, Mr and Mrs Hill. I am so sorry for your loss. I´ve been friends with Danny since 1st grade Stiles elementary. This photo is 3rd grade I believe. We had so much fun with the orange VW Beetle to the Plymouth with the "white knob".
I have so many great memories of staying at the house in Wallingford but Christine teaching our 3 year old Dominic how to play WII tennis stands out. Think of all the great times you had together as he never stopped talking about his family to me. Love to you all. Bill Leo

My memories of Dan are many. The most important ones were when he spoke of his daughter Christine, his eyes would light up and he almost became animated. He loved her so. He was most proud of everything she did and accomplished. I know he felt very close with her and loved her most of all. I miss you Dan. Rest in Peace You will forever be in my heart.
