Ah Mr Hosk.. while growing up we certainly had plenty of neighborhood picnics but I didn't get to know Mr H personally until years later. I was in an accident and Mr H was the first there for unending support to my family and me. When in the hospital the Dr's were concerned I wouldn't recognize anyone when I woke up so Mr H blew up pics of my family, nieces/nephews and boxer puppy Clancy and put them on the wall opposite my hospital bed. At one of his daily visits, Mr Hosk, as only he would do, told me a dumb blond joke. now at this stage of my TBI I was semi conscious and non verbal. After the joke however I guess I was able to muster up the energy and gave him the finger. Mrs Hosk told me later that when he came home he assured everyone that "she is going to be 'JUST FINE'. When i finally was moved to the TBI ward of Gaylord, I was not allowed any stimuli (ie TV) so once once again, Mr Hosk brought me a cd player with I think disc he mixed of james taylor and other soothing sounds. Through the dark, scary, silent nights, it was my saving grace. And I regret that I never told him what it meant to me. I learned a valuable lesson from Mr Hosk about caring and kindness. What he did for me left me with a life long understanding of the importance of caring and kindness towards others and for that I will hope to carry on what Mr H showed me. Hopefully he has met TJ at the doors and they can catch up!!!!

I will always remember Dave whistling in the office and playing the banjo. He was very cheerful and a great guy to work for. My condolences to his family.

It was a pleasure to work with Dave for many years. He was a friend to many, and always had the best interests of others in mind at all times. Rest in Peace Dave.
