I can not put into words how sad I am about David's passing. When we were together at St. Vincent's, David always brought a smile to my face. I loved hearing his voice and what a smile!!! We always talked about the Yankees and the New York Giants but sports in general was always part of our many conversations.
He loved all of you so much and was so proud of his girls...he glowed when he spoke of you!! When the holidays came around, family and good food were our topics and we would compare notes on our meals.
David always lent a helping hand whenever I was changing things in my classroom and loved to be a part of our school events...I loved Glenda and always told him what great legs he had when he became her for one of our dress up days with our children at school.
David was always so respectful to my mom and I and came to visit often after he left St. Vincent's. He gave us amazing bear hugs!! David was truly a terrific man.
Due to family responsibilities, I am so sorry that I will be unable to attend services tomorrow at St. Martin de Porres. I wanted so much to meet all of you and let you know how much David will be missed.
David touched many lives in such a positive way that he will always be with us.
Once again, I am so truly sorry for your loss.
