Diane Ehlert Obituary

Diane Lee Ehlert
Diane L. Ehlert Benbaharia age 68, after a long illness in the hospital, returned to Our Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Born August 24, 1953 in New Haven to the late Donald C. and Barbara A. Ehlert. Diane grew up mainly in East Haven; learned ballet as a child, then beautician school as an adult. In 2019 she moved into a condo in West Haven. She loved her fur babies and always had one or two as a roommate. She also contributed to the USO, and the less fortunate. Survived by Donald J. Ehlert, her brother, wife Madeline, and Donald J. Ehlert, Jr. Diane's family and friends wish her peace and love. She will be missed; but can now rest eternally with those who have gone before her.
