Dear Audrey and family. Gloria and I are so saddened to learn of Ed's death. What a great guy and a wonderful supportive wife, and a beautiful family. Beyond his many contributions, when there were difficult moments, I could rely on his steady hand, his great smile and a joke that only he could deliver. His contributions were many but perhaps most memorable was his role in saving the Blackhawk program. The Blackhawk technology was new and the factory was struggling, was behind schedule and the Army was upset. I asked Ed to move to the factory and take over one of the serious
problem areas. It worked and the rest is history. I was privileged
to have Ed in my life.
