Edward Glenn Obituary
Edward Thomas Glenn, 91, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025, at MidState Medical Center, Meriden with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 68 years to Maureen McGuire Glenn. Edward was born in North Haven on April 8, 1933, and was the son of the late Frank and Anna Hess Glenn. He served his country faithfully in the US Navy. Edward had worked as a supervisor of powerhouse at Pratt & Whitney for many years until his retirement. He was a devoted parishioner at St. Frances Cabrini Church. Edward was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and both men and women's UConn basketball. He enjoyed playing golf and achieved the very difficult accomplishment of hitting a hole-in-one. Father of Kathleen Glenn-Nadal (Juan) and John Glenn (Patsy). Grandfather of Juan-Carlos (Alexandra), Christopher, and Christina Nadal, Edward (Samantha) and Shannon Glenn. He was predeceased by his seven siblings.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Thursday morning, April 10th at 11:30 a.m. to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929. www.northhavenfuneral.com
