One of the finest and funniest persons I knew during our days at UConn and SigEP. His service to the brothers of Connecticut Alpha is legendary and will be remembered for generations of future brothers. My condolences to his immediate family and all of us who called him brother.

My heartfelt condolences to those closest to Ed. This loss must feel cavernous. May peace be with you all.

Ed was one of the most unique men I´ve ever known. No other has ever matched his abundant energy and his joy for conversation on just about any topic. While at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Ed would reach out often via our instant messaging tool and before I could even type back "Hey Ed. What´s up?" he would have already typed 4 full paragraphs of text! Those fingers could fly! I think he typed just as fast as his mind processed just about any challenge. That´s what I have always remembered of the time we spent together there...that he just had such a zest for life...like he had a capacity to live it faster, fuller than anyone else.
I guess I´m going to look at it that way...that maybe he did....Maybe Ed got in far more than most in his too-brief 57 years. So long, Ed!!!

Very sorry to hear about this....did not know Edward personally, but learned of his passing via my uncle, to whom he was a great friend...despite not knowing the man, based on what he had to say about him, and the level of grief he felt about it...not to mention the memories/condolences written on here..one cannot help but get the feeling that he would have been a good friend to anybody...I wish the best for his family/loved ones moving forward, and am certain that his spirit will not only live on with prosperity, but will truly appreciate the support everyone has reached out with, in regards to him

A person´s life can be measured on the impact they had on others, the unselfish deeds that helped many, and the friends and family that love the person. This describes Ed.

May his memory be a blessing.
