Ernest Novak Obituary

NOVAK, ERNEST JOHN SR. Ernest John Novak, Sr., age 62, of Milford, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 3, 2011. Born on May 14, 1949 in Milford, CT, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gladys (Marchant) Novak. He served with pride and honor in the US Army. Prior to his retirement, Ernie was employed at Mallico Construction as a driver, laborer and mechanic for the last 27 years. Ernie was one of the most giving people you could have ever met. He enjoyed going to flea and antique markets. Ernie was well known for being able to repair absolutely anything that was broken. He will always be remembered as a loving and caring father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his two sons, Ernest Novak Jr.of Seymour and Jonathan Novak and his wife Jennifer of Milford, three cherished grandchildren, Adam, Alyssa and Ashley Novak of Milford, a brother Paul Novak of Southbury, cherished friends, Jim and Donna Mallico and many loving friends. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 8th, at 10:00 a.m. at Milford Cemetery with Military Honors. Friends and family may call on Friday, October 7th, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St, Milford, CT. 06460
