Ethan Otis Thornton

THORNTON, ETHAN OTIS Ethan Otis Thornton was born to Lisa and Patrick Thornton on June 2nd, 2010, and left us on Christmas eve, 2012, just as it began to snow. He was diagnosed early on with several rare genetic disorders that inhibited him from a typical life. This did not stop him from overcoming many traditional boundaries put in place by many doctors. As he continued to grow, he defied the odds and touched the lives of all he came in contact with. His smile was infectious and his personality and spirit shined through, even in the toughest of times. He touched the lives of family and many friends, all who have expressed the profound effect his life had on their own. Thank you to all those who took an active role in his growth and development. We are proud to be able to have called him our son and honored to have shared the time that we spent. Funeral services are Saturday at 3 p.m. in Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may call Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of service. We are asking that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to one of two charities that directly impacted Ethan's life.
