Fenmore Puklin Obituary
Fenmore Puklin, 96, of New Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Bridgeport Hospital. Fenmore was the son of the late Lillian and William Puklin. He was predeceased by his wonderful wife of 39 years, Joyce Puklin, and his two brothers, Jerome Puklin and Myron Puklin.
Fenmore was a longtime resident of New Haven. He graduated from Hillhouse High School in 1944 and managed several retail businesses in the greater New Haven area.
Fenmore leaves behind five children, Wendy (John) Ocone, David (Nancy) Puklin, Patty (Keith) Sandler, Laurie (Shelby) Nicks, and Adam (Lucia) Puklin. He was a loving grandfather of eight grandchildren, Lauren Chudoba, Jeffrey and Leah Puklin, Jessie Sandler (deceased), Alexandra Nicks, Adrianna, Gabriella and Dylan Puklin, and great-granddaughter, Lily Chudoba.
Fenmore also leaves behind his longtime companion, Edie Tanenbaum, with whom he enjoyed many years of happiness and travel.
Funeral services will be held at Mishkan Israel Cemetery, Jewell St., New Haven on TUESDAY morning May 24th at 10:00. The Robert E. Shure & Son Funeral Home, New Haven is in care of arrangements.
