Frances Lucibello Obituary

Frances Lucibello
May 20, 1930 - September 22, 2022
Frances P. Lucibello, 92, of East Haven, went to join the arms of her husband of 63 years Richard Lucibello Sr. on September 22, 2022.
Frances was born May 20, 1930 in New Haven to the late Frank and Anna Marie Prece. She was a graduate of Commercial High School class of 1948 and worked as a bookkeeper for Anthem for 28 years until her retirement. She was never happier than to be with her family, cooking and baking especially for the big holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving. Frances loved to sew and to be out boating on the Sound. Frances also enjoyed traveling, and especially cherished the 21-day trip to Italy with her husband for their 50th anniversary. She loved to roller skate and ice skate, and was an avid Yankee and Rangers fan. Frances also loved her dogs and "baby girl" Gretel Anne.
Frances is survived by her son Richard "Skip" Lucibello Jr., daughter Francine Lucibello, both of East Haven; her sisters: Grace (Eugene) Mulone of Guilford and Elizabeth (Robert) Hoban of Branford; beloved grandchildren Jamie and Jena Hager; godchildren Heather Suppa and Eugene Mulone Jr.; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Frances was predeceased by her brothers: Angelo (Julia) Prece, Claudio (Jenny) Prece and John (Rose) Prece.
Frances' family would like to thank her caregivers from Agency on Aging Lataja Young & Yakeisha Burnett, the staff at Quinnipiac Medical Associates, VNA Community Hospice and her doctors Dr. Richard Kaufman, Dr. Ajoy Kapoor and Sheila Sennett for their care and compassion for Frances over the years.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Frances will be celebrated TUESDAY, September 27th at 11:30AM in St. Vincent de Paul Church (St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish), 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven. Entombment in St. Lawrence Garden Mausoleum will follow. Friends and relatives may visit prior to Mass from 9:00 – 11:00AM at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, 425 Main St. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frances' name may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 515, Northampton, MA 01061-0515.

I truly cherish my visits with Gram, Gramps, Francine and Skip over the years. Although we lived far away, Gram always took the time to send a note with a kind word during the holidays or to recognize my accomplishments as I was growing up. Gram and gramps even came to Kentucky to celebrate my high school graduation! Gram will be very fondly remembered and sincerely missed.

Love her granddaughter,

Jamie

Many of my fondest childhood memories are from times spent with Gram and Gramps, Francine, and Skip in East Haven. We made wonderful memories going out on the boat, watching baseball, playing with the dogs and eating delicious meals. She had the most loving and caring heart.

Gram will be dearly missed and in my heart forever.

Love her granddaughter,
Jena
