With a heavy heart, we just learned today of Dr. Lobo's passing while we were in pedi clinic. Dr. Lobo always greeted us with a hug before getting to business. He was the most kind and compassionate physician. We will truly miss him.

Dr. Lobo was a brilliant and exceptionally kind physician. He helped both my daughter and me so very much. He will be sorely missed. It is hard to find the words for how sad we are to hear of his passing. He was one of a kind in a medical system that is extremely difficult and stressful to navigate. He always made living with a chronic illness easier.

It was a shock to learn of Frank's tragic and untimely death. He was the sort of person to whom as a patient or friend you could entrust your woes - a true gentleman, always attentive, helpful, and kind. Frank was a gifted teacher and an inspired lecturer... I have never forgotten his great disquisition on the topic of Dirt and Disease! We were fellow members of the Beaumont Medical Club, of which Frank was an active, respected, and well-loved president. I will forever be saddened by my own obliviousness to his personal struggles. My sincere condolences to Frank's family and loved ones. May he rest in peace.

My husband and I consider Frank the face of hospitality and great kindness for the Yale allergy department. When fellows were leavimg and no one else took upon the celebration for them we were graciously invited to his home for a grand celebration. It was Always at his own expense. His hospitality and his great kindness were enjoyed by all. He was not only a great doctor., He was a great compassionate man. We are now in Florida and cannot attend his memorial Our dear priest Fr. Kingsley will be saying his daily mass at St Justin and St Michael Catholic Church in Hartford on Tsesday Wednesday and Thursday if any of you would like to attend. Frank could be counted on to lend his support to worthy causes at the school, at work, and in his neighborhood. He was involved in every aspect of his community, and he was beloved by all those who had the pleasure to work with him. At his home and at his restaurant he was a gracious host, a witty conversationalist, and a good friend. He was a gentleman and a scholar in the truest sense of both words, and he will be sorely missed.
