FRANK MAURO Obituary

MAURO, FRANK E. Frank Edward Mauro, 69, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2015 at his home. He was the beloved friend of Linda Holmes. Francis was born in Manhattan, NY on May 8, 1945; son of the late Joseph F. and Hazel Quigley Mauro; served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Vietnam era and had worked as a butcher for Local #432. Father of Hazel Dawn Mauro. Brother of Robert (Carol) Mauro, John (Marietta) Mauro and the late Joseph, Thomas, Richard and Joanne Mauro, Laura Lisco and Dolores Lamperdusa. Family and friends are invited to go directly to Centerville Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Hamden on Monday morning at 11:00 to attend a funeral service with full military honors.. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements. www.northhavenfuneral.com

MY UNCLE FRANKIE WAS A FREE SPIRIT.HE WAS A BEAUTIFUL MAN INSIDE AND OUT. I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF HIM. I WISH PEOPLE AND THEIR LIVES DID NOT HAVE GAPS OF TIMEWHERE CONNECTIONS GOT BROKEN AND WE WILL NEVER GET IT BACK. I LOVE YOU UNCLE AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART AND PRAYERS.BUT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THOUGHT IS YOU WILL BE WITH ALL YOUR FAMILY IN HEAVEN.GIVE MY FATHER A HUG AND KISS FROM ME AND TELL HIM I LOVE HIM SO.LOVE YOU YOUR NIECE JOANNE
