Frank J. O'Neill, 82, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6th, 2026, at St Raphael's campus of Yale New Haven Hospital, with his loving wife of 52 years, Edwina Christoforo O'Neill, by his side. Frank was born in New Haven on April 30, 1943, and was the son of the late Francis O'Neill and Helen Reidy O'Neill. He served his country faithfully and the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Frank was a member of the Teamsters Local # 443, Saint Stanislaus Holy Name Society and had worked for the former Stop & Shop warehouse until his retirement. A real outdoorsman, Frank loved hunting and fishing, and he was also a sports enthusiast being an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New England Patriots. Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his brother, James (Joyce), O'Neill; nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Brother-in-law of the late Rose Ferrigno.
The visiting hours will be held on Friday morning, March 13, from 9 to 10:15 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church of Blessed Michael McGivney Parish, New Haven, at 11 o'clock.
