Antoinette Salvo

Antoinette A. "Toni" Apicella Salvo, 94, of North Haven passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, surrounded by her family. Antoinette was born in New Haven and was the daughter of the late Fortunato and Trofimena Farace Apicella. She was a devoted parishioner of St Michael Church and served in many societies (St, Ann Society and St. Trofimena Society) and was actively involved in all parish activities, fundraisers and community service. She received the St. Joseph Medal of Appreciation from the Archdiocese of Hartford for outstanding dedication and hard work to her church and community. She was a medical technologist at The Hospital of St. Raphael for many years and she was the wife of the late Michael E. "Mickey" Salvo. They were married for 64 years and created a beautiful family. She is the mother of Michael Anthony Salvo (Lisa Ann), Catherine Ann Salvo (Michael Toce), Anthony Fortunato Salvo (Travis) and the late Paul Matthew Salvo. Grandmother of Stephen, David, Erica, Michaela, Mikayla, Jenna, Ella and Julian and great-grandmother of Nora Ann.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday April 1st from 9-10:30am in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc., 11 Wooster Place. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11am in St. Michael Church-Blessed Michael McGivney Parish, 29 Wooster Place, New Haven. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Avenue, West Haven. Kindly omit flowers and make memorial contributions to the St. Ann Society, 5 Hillhouse Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511.
