Frank Rossi Obituary

Frank D. Rossi
Frank D. Rossi, 81, passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2024 with his wife and children by his side. Frank is now reunited with his parents, Frank and Stella Rossi, sister Estelle Somers and many loved ones for Christmas.
Known for his quick wit, fun spirit and fierce strength, Frank lived his life with passion and love while fighting the degenerative disease of Inclusion Body Myositis.
A plumber by trade and custom remodeler, Frank was our own Mr. Fix it. His talents were in the kitchen as well. He created, cooked and catered for every family function and holiday including owning his own "Rossi's" deli.
His love of the water was his true joy. He could captain any vessel and created adventures, memories and everlasting friendships on the 'R Baby".
Frank was so loved and will be deeply missed by his loving wife Janis Rossi of 56 years, his three children Gina (Rob) Zirlis, Renee Rossi and Frank (Deb) Rossi and his 6 beloved grandchildren, Robbie, Ava and Alana Zirlis, Kai, Grey and Cole Rossi, his Aunt Ann, dear cousins, and friends.
Frank's family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Allen Rodrigues and Dr. Kevin Felice from the Hospital for Special Care, for the compassionate and loving care they provided him.
Visiting hours will be Sunday December 22nd from 4-7 p.m. at the Lupinski Funeral, 821 State Street, New Haven. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Michael McGivney Parish at St. Stanislaus Church, 9 Eld Street, New Haven. The burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. Contributions in Frank memory may be made to St. Stanislaus Church or to the Hospital for Special Care. Share a memory by visiting Frank's Tribute page at www.lupinskifuneralhome.com.
