Frederick D. Goetz, Jr.,62, of Madison (formerly of East Haven) died Wednesday January 5, 2022 due to early-onset Alzheimer's disease. He was born December 3,1959 in New Haven to the late Frederick D. Goetz, Sr. and Helen Gorman Goetz. He worked at the Hamden DMV until retirement. He is survived by the love of his life, Mary Rose Riccitelli Goetz and his loving sisters Eva-Marie Jennings ( Russell ) of East Haven, Ellen Goetz ( Mary ) of Waterbury and Elizabeth Scott ( James ) of West Haven as well as his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother John Goetz.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven. Fred will be remembered for his caring, gentle ways. In lieu of flowers please do an act of kindness in honor of Fred.
The W.S Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North main Street, Branford, is in charge of arrangements.
