WALLS, GEORGE ROBERT JR. Passed away February 14th, 2015 at home in Lakeside, CA. Formerly of Hamden, Ct. George was born on September 17th, 1957 in Wilmington, DE. Son of the late George R. Walls. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Dorthea L. Macholl, siblings, Dottie Walls MacDougall, Larry (Susan) Walls, Steven Macholl, Michelle Macholl Hoffman, Godson, Kevin Macdougall, niece, Corrine (Michael) Devincentis, nephew, Brian Walls, family, friends, former wife, Terry Rumford, and the love of his life, daughter, Krysten Renee Walls.George was a graduate of Hamden High. He was a skilled carpenter and auto mechanic. He was a great son, and did many remodels on his mother’s house. Though George never walked again without the aid of crutches after a bike accident, he managed more than most men. He continued to do carpentry and work on cars. He sold autos, antiques,and more. He frequented the Julian Gold Mines and was nicknamed “The Sheriff”. His proudest life accomplishment was being Krysten’s Dad. George loved animals and had many pets. Krysten and George nicknamed his property, “ The Farm”,. George was never one to sit around. On his last day here on earth, he was on a hill, chopping down an oak tree. We believe he sat down on that hill, looked out at his property, and said, “I did it my way” then he closed his eyes and left us. The family will have a celebration of life this June in Hamden.
