My deepest sympathy to Mary, Rick, Jennifer and families. I was deeply saddened to hear the sad news about Hedy. I enjoyed many wonderful times with Hedy when she lived in Australia. She certainly knew how to have a good time, how to cook fantastic meals and how to celebrate in style. It was a true pleasure to spend those wonderful years together. I am certain she will be sadly missed by all that knew her. My condolences to all of you. May you cherish all the wonderful memories that you have of Hedy. Our condolences to Rick, Jennifer and families. There are no words that can take away the sadness of Hedy's passing. Please know that our thoughts are with you at this time.
Having worked with Hedy since 2002, I came to respect her for the caring, compassionate and family-orientated lady she was. Always wanting to learn more and be involved in as much as possible, she worked tirelessly with true professionalism and respect for all. Her sense of humor was also greatly appreciated.
She will be truly missed and forever in our thoughts.

Caring, committed, intelligent, positive. That is how Hedy will be remembered by all whom she touched. Hedy lifted many people up. Hedy lifted me up. I learned a lot from her in our almost 10 years working together. I was starting my career when we first met in my native country Brazil, one of so many trips she made around the world. A mentor who had a major impact in my life. An example. A beloved friend who will be missed.
Not only she was an outstanding professional, Hedy was an extraordinary human being. She loved her family more than anything. My deepest thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Rick, Jennifer and all her family.

I learned the sad news today from a mutual friend, Diane. I worked with Hedy from 1986-1989. I am so sorry for your loss. Hedy was a good friend and helped me tremendously when I lost my job in 2001. She always went out of her way to make people feel welcome and special.

I read with sadness the notice of Hedy's passing. We grew up as teenagers in the same neighboohood in Trumbull and later socialized as young adults (along with Brian & Mary). I look back on those times fondly.
Though life took us in different directions I still remember Hedy's bright eyes, nice smile, sense of humor, and great laugh. She was a pleasure to be around.

Hedy was my supervisor in Vitramon and later a colleague at Vishay. She always had time to explain, listen and share. Her laugh was unique and you just had to laugh with her. God bless Hedy and give comfort to her family.

I had the pleasure of working with Hedy beginning in 2008 on a major project. She was a remarkably talented and dedicated person. She always carried a calm and pleasant demeanor regardless of the situation. She loved to speak about her family. She is certainly missed. She was the first person I met her in Shelton which was my first week at Vishay. She was very proud of her work & family and she was a wonderful person and pleased working with her. We will miss HEDY.

It is with a heavy heart that we send our deepest condolences to Rick, Jen and Hedy's entire family. Meeting Hedy through work, she proved to be a true professional that gave 100+ percent of herself, her knowledge, and her time to anyone who needed it.
