BECKERMAN, HOWARD Howard Beckerman, 63, of Pensacola, Fl., formerly of Cheshire, Ct., husband of Denise Rutledge, died on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at West Florida Hosp. in Pensacola, Fl. Born in New Haven, March 6, 1948, he was a son of the late William & Sylvia (Gottlieb) Beckerman. Father of Chad Beckerman & Jonathan Beckerman, both of N.Y.C., Skylar Beckerman of Pensacola, Fl., & Michelle (Shaun) Palker of Cypress, Tx. Brother of David (Ruthann) Beckerman of Boca Raton, Fl. & Barbara Beckerman of Madison, Ct. Also survived by his granddaughter, Lily. Funeral Services at Cong. Mishkan Israel, 785 Ridge Rd., Hamden FRIDAY at 12:00 o'clock NOON with Interment to follow at Mishkan Israel Cemetery, Jewell St., New Haven. Memorial Contributions may be sent to the Beckerman Family Supporting Fund for the Benefit of Hamden Hall Country Day School or for the Benefit of Cong. So sorry to Hear about Howard. He was a wonderful boss to me at Starter in Pensacola and yes this was the best job I've ever had myself. Thank you Howard for that great experience I had back in the early 90's..

I am so sorry to hear about Howard. I worked for him at Starter in Pensacola & Memphis. Working for Starter was the best job I ever had and Howard played a big part in that. Wonderful memories about Denise and Howard. Rest in peace my friend. BJ
