FLAHERTY, JEANNE E. Jeanne E. (Fisher) Flaherty, 86, formerly residing at Atria, Bethlehem, PA and East Haven, CT, died Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Bernard R. Flaherty. Born in Springfield, MA, April 17, 1929, Jeanne was the daughter of the late Nedd and Jessie (Garrow) Fisher. Jeanne was an avid reader and loved sending and receiving cards. She was a talented artist and enjoyed making handcrafted note cards, gift tags and bags. Over the years, Jeanne supplied her family and friends with many beautiful wood-burned and painted Christmas ornaments. She was employed as a sales representative for Research Publications in Woodbridge, CT for 23 years. Survivors: Children, Michael W. Flaherty of Lebanon, CT, Gayle F. Deck and her partner, John D. Trumbull of New Tripoli, Blaise G. Flaherty and his wife, Renee of Parker, CO, Christopher N. Flaherty and his wife, Lisa of Denver, CO; granddaughter, Elizabeth J. Deck of Arlington, MA; predeceased by daughter-in-law, Georgianne Flaherty. Service: Private. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
