Jeffrey DeFrancesco Obituary
Jeffrey Michael DeFrancesco, 40 of Northford, tragically passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was the beloved fiancé of Kate Fortuna, and the loving father to Brody and Kallie Mae DeFrancesco. Jeffrey was born in New Haven on February 22, 1982. He was the beloved son of Anthony and Denise (Moras) DeFrancesco of Northford. He also leaves behind his older brother Anthony DeFrancesco III, of Los Angeles, California.
Jeffrey attended North Branford High School and later graduated from the Avon Old Farms School. He was a proud member of the Elevator Constructors Union, Local 91 and had been employed by Otis Elevator. He adored his children more than anything. He was dedicated to North Branford youth sports, where you could find him on the field or sideline coaching his son's Little League and Basketball teams. He truly enjoyed with pride watching his son Brody play Hockey for the Hamden Dragons. When it came to his daughter, you were really able to see the softer side of Jeff. He loved the simple things with Kallie. Coloring, singing, painting her nails and brushing her curly hair. Jeff could also often be found at the neighbor's horse farm, taking his daughter to feed and pet the horses. In the summers, Jeff and his family loved going to their "Happy Place" in Block Island. Jeffrey will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
The visiting hours will be Tuesday, Oct. 25th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Wednesday, Oct. 26th at 12 noon to attend a Mass of Christian burial. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
