Jennie Mae Thorpe
Jennie Mae Thorpe, formerly of Branford, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2021 at the age of 32. Jennie was born March 5, 1989 and was a spirited burst of pure vibrance and vitality from day one. She carried her friendly and loving nature with her into her adult years, her perfect blend of spunky amiability will be remembered and cherished by her family and friends. Jennie graduated from Valley Regional High School in Deep River in 2008 and had worked for the Dunkin Donuts chain for many years.
Jennie is survived by her parents Jacqueline Casey (Drescott Thompson) of Branford and Frank Thorpe of Ivoryton, her maternal grandfather Donald Casey, paternal aunts Sally, Debbie and Renee and paternal uncle Daniel, maternal aunts Donna Burrows and Katherine Sanso, maternal uncle Ralph (Sherry) Casey, and her cousins Lauren Ramos and her daughter Teaghan, Donald Casey and his daughter Sinivea, Nicole (Steve) Trotta and their children Michael and Hazel, Brittany Mansfield and her daughter Blair, Joseph Gaudio, Christopher Sanso and Nattilie Sanso. Jennie is predeceased by her maternal grandmother Antoinnette Casey, her paternal grandmother Charlotte Thorpe and her paternal uncle David.
Burial will be private at the family's request and a celebration of life ceremony will be held Saturday August 28 in conjunction with her Grandfather's funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can made in Jennie's name to Branford Counseling & Community Services, 342 Harbor St., Branford, CT 06405.
