John Dzikowski

DZIKOWSKI, JOHN "JACK" John "Jack" Dzikowski, age 70, of Derby entered into rest on Friday, September 21, 2012 in the Griffin Hospital. He is the devoted husband of 41 years to Marcia Gorzelany Dzikowski. Mr. Dzikowski was born in Derby on October 28, 1942, son of the late John and Antoinette Dzikowski, and was a resident of Ansonia for many years before returning to Derby in 1973. John served his country proudly as a veteran of the US Army. He was a lead man at Ansonia Copper and Brass for over 30 years before his retirement in 2007. For his accomplishments in basketball he was inducted to the Ansonia Hall of Fame. He is the beloved father of Jon and Kevin Dzikowski, brother of Richard Dzikowski, and the late Geraldine Bottichiari. Friends may greet his family on Monday from 3 to 7 PM in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby. On Tuesday friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM in St. Michael's Church, Derby followed by full military honors.
