Christopher Mas Sr.

Christopher Mas, age 37, of Milford, entered into rest on Saturday, February 21, 2026. He lived fully, loved fiercely, and left us far too soon.

Chris was born on October 6, 1988, son of the late Vincent Mas, Sr. and Theresa (Longo) Mas, and lived in Shelton, CT. From the time he was young, Chris showed a curious and adventurous spirit. While other children played with fake plastic tools, Chris preferred the real thing - hammers, screwdrivers, and anything he could use to build or fix.

He built a career as a skilled tradesman in HVAC and renovation. He was known for his ability to take on projects both large and small - from simple handyman jobs to renovation projects - always with care, craftsmanship, and pride in his work.

Chris was most proud of his son, Christopher, who meant the world to him. He loved spending time with his family and was the kind of son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend who showed up without hesitation. He had the best heart and was there for anyone who needed him. His smile and gentleness, and his genuine interest in the lives of those he loved are what people will remember most.

He found joy on the water - especially riding his boat along the Housatonic River - and cherished time spent in Cape Cod. He also shared a love of motorcycles, proudly inheriting and riding his father's Harley. Whether on the water, on the road, or surrounded by family, Chris was happiest when he was free, moving, and connected to the people he loved.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Mas, Jr., two siblings, Jessica Osso (Michael Osso) and Vincent Mas, Jr. (Alison Mas), his paternal grandmother Pauline Mas, his maternal grandparents Michael and Arline Longo, his niece Haley Constantino and her daughter Layla Lewis, nephew Daniel Mas, and niece Audrey Mas, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chris's absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him. His loyalty, his humor, and his quiet kindness will continue to guide and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.

The Riverview Funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements. There will be a private family service to celebrate Chris's life.
