John Kostandin Obituary

John Kostandin
09/30/2025
John Paul Kostandin, 74, of Richmond, Virginia, formerly of Wallingford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2025.
A devoted Father and Grandfather, his passion for the New York Yankees was only surpassed by his love for his sons, their Spouses, and his grandchildren. For those who loved him, John will be remembered by his laid-back approach to life, infectious laugh, and sage advice.
Those left to cherish John's memory are his children, Paul (Kathleen) Kostandin and Michael (Maureen) Kostandin; grandchildren, Michael Jr., Juliet, Bennett, and John; his siblings, Lorraine Anderson, William Kostandin(Susan Farone), and Elizabeth (John) Benham. In addition, John leaves behind beloved nieces and nephews, countless close friends, a few distant friends, and acquaintances who just couldn't resist his charm. John is preceded in death by his parents Paul Theodore Kostandin and Yvonne (Geotis) Kostandin along with his brother-in-law Peter Anderson.
A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers or condolences, please root for the Yankees.

Such a truly memorable guy... Even after more than half a century, John is readily recalled as an especially warm, easy-going, funny and friendly man. Sympathy and condolences to John's family and friends.
