Mr. Mackey was an incredible teacher and mentor. His passion for languages and knowledge of all subject matter he taught continues to impress me, as I look back on my years at Lyman Hall as his Spanish student especially now as I have become a bilingual teacher myself-a path I took due to the strong Spanish education I received and the positive associations with Spanish classes with Mr. Mackey at Lyman Hall. I send my deepest condolences to his family.
