It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our brother John Joseph Manzi on April 30, 2018. John was born on October 12, 1953 to the late Joseph and Theresa (Valente) Manzi.
John leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of his siblings, Judith Cuticelli and Lynne Polino of New Haven and Ronald Manzi of New York City, nieces Elena (Chris) Garrett of Williamsburg, Virginia, Lauren (Michael) Patton of Greenwich and Jonathan (fiance, Erica Sgroe) of New York City, great-nieces and great-nephew, Ava and Lucy Garrett, Molly Patton and Tristan Patton.John also predeceased several aunts, an uncle, cousins and countless friends.John had a tremendous impact on the many people he touched throughout every phase of his life. John loved animals and all things nature related. His genius transcended through not only his penchant for fine art, but in his photography and his ability to transform everyday items that most people took for granted into highly philosophical and deep stories that allowed anyone who studied his work to relate to it in a multiple ways and on many levels.He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend.As per John's wishes, he requested no services.
