John Clark Thomson, Jr.
John Clark Thomson Jr., an 87-year-old Shelton resident and husband to Virginia DeWitt Thomson, passed away at home Dec. 3rd with his loving family by his side. He was born June 30, 1937, in Derby, son of the late John and Martha Bryant Thomson. John was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as an engineer for Farrel Co. in Derby. In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory two sons, John Thomson III and Scott Thomson (Annette) of Ansonia, as well as two granddaughters. John was predeceased by a brother.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 11th at 11:00 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial with military honors rendered follows in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Eagle Hose Fire Co. #6 in Ansonia.
