Kathleen Larson Obituary
Kathleen Kingston Larson, 70, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Nov. 29 in the Griffin Hospital. She is the wife of Alvin F. Larson. Born in New Haven on Mar. 10,1953 daughter of the late James M. and Margaret "Peg" Connors Kingston, a communicant of the Church of the Assumption, graduate of the Assumption School, Laurel Hall High School and Emanuel College in Boston; and received her master's degree from Sorbonne Univ. in Paris. After returning to the United States, she was employed as an operator in S.N.E.T. Co. working in many positions until reaching Director of Labor Relations for ATT retiring after 30 years of Service in 2015.
Survivors besides her husband are daughter Kateri Smith and her husband Gary, son Alexander J. Larson, sisters Margaret Kingston Sheahan and her husband Timothy, Anne Kingston Messina and her husband Edward, granddaughters Kayleigh and Colleen, aunts Mary G. Connors and Rita McEvoy, sister-in-law Frances Fitzpatrick Kingston, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother James M. Kingston.
Calling Hours will be held on Monday from 9:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. in the Bennett Funeral Home, 91 N. Cliff St., Ansonia with the funeral leaving to go to the Church of the Assumption for a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. St. Peters Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Assumption School in care of the Funeral Home.

I am so sad to hear of Kathleen´s passing.
I called her "KK". Kathy and I were good pals and French majors at Emmanuel College. We lived in Paris together and studied at the Sorbonne. We traveled all over Europe together in our twenties. She was a very smart woman, funny and fun, and a great friend.

To Al, Kathy's beloved husband and to all the Kingston family-
We are remembering the visits we had at the Larson home. Kathy was such a a generous and enthusiastic person, always welcoming. We recall a lot of laughter and catching-up around the kitchen table. Kathy's humor was infectious, and her smile was beautiful.
We are truly grieving now and will be thinking of Al especially in the coming days.
