Katie Mae Buchfuehrer

Buchfuehrer, Katie Mae (Burton) Passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the age of 90 at Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, Indiana. She was born July 9, 1923 in Arkansas. Katie is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Buchfuehrer and Harriet (Milton) Scheidt; 3 granddaughters, Elizabeth (Blake) Frazier, Marcia (Jaime) Hernandez and Monica Scheidt; 3 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Samuel, and Molly; 1 sister, Mary Jackson; 1 sister-in-law, Norma Collins; 1 brother-in-law, James Buchfuehrer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis (Bud) Buchfuehrer in 1991 and an infant daughter. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Indiana Masonic Home, 690 State Street, Franklin, IN 46131. Visitation will take place at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A special service presented by The Order of the Eastern Star, Hobart Chapter #314, will be at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Hobart Cemetery.
