A smile seemed to never leave Kristin's face when I knew her Always so cheerful, up beat and happy. We both come from big extended families and my heart goes out to each of you and to the Hopkins family she nurtured for so many years. It is my deepest hope that having each other and great memories will continue to comfort and encourage you through the coming months. Her presence will be missed, but I her spirit will continue to bless us and live in each of you.

To Kris' family -

We were very sorry to hear about Kris' illness and passing. We were not aware of this until recently. Kris was wonderful to our family during the years of her High school, College and the years of their children growing up. They were good years.

She was a great person. We are glad to have had the time we had with her.

My memories of Kristin date back 25 years when we were neighbors and young parents. When I last saw her she was as beautiful and vibrant as ever and we discussed some of our fondest memories of our children ranging from Halloween costumes to Hopkins sports events. I choose to remember her just like thata wonderfully devoted and adoring mother and a dynamic individual who impacted the lives of thousands through her profession and passions. When recently reconnecting with her lovely children and family members I was reminded, by their grace and courage, that Kristin's legacy indeed thrives in the hearts, minds, and lives of those who loved her most. We are all better people for having known such a uniquely kind and remarkable woman.

Sarah and family,I'm so sorry that Kristin is no longer with you in body. However, her spirit and memories of her will stay with you forever. From Hopkins I remember she had such a distinctive "look" that she could give if she found us doing something not quite on topic, not quite yelling. But allowing us to reconsider before we got into trouble. My heart goes out to you and yours.

Every memory I have of Kristin makes me smile. I see her tending to her home, walking Rusty and loving my daughter Victoria (the rest of us too, but not as much as Victoria I am sure). I hear her talking about her kids, football, Hopkins and laughing at my stupid jokes, going on about how much she loved Borgen and reminiscing about past trips with her Hopkins Francophiles. "Life Goes On" I feel and so does Kristin. She just doesn't sit in our kitchen anymore, but I see her and I hear her, so it is with other people I love. I know they all live on together to me.
