I have known Lenny as a co-worker at Cidra and also as a friend. We stayed in touch after Cidra. I always enjoyed our conversations, his passion for his beliefs. He was a good man, loved his family. This news is very shocking to me. I will miss him. My thoughts to the family.

EJ, Catie and Michael, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved Husband, Father, Farmer and Friend. Lenny was the consummate family man even at workanyone that knew him, knew how much he loved, honored and enjoyed his family life. The Family that lived inside the house of coursebut also the growing family outside
I feel truly blessed to have been part of his work Family at Honeywell for over 8 years. More blessed that it seemed twice as long. Lenny Len (as I affectionately called him) was a man of many talents. So much more than the most dependable, conscientious and knowledgeable Facilities Manager. I leaned on him for many things including his literally, technical writing and meticulous graphic design skills. But most importantly, I leaned on him as a friend. He was a kind and caring friend. I will miss hiding in his office for coffee breaks where he entertained me with his interesting diatribes or cheered me up with family stories and lines from Get Smart. I won't miss rolling around on his office floor with my first kidney stone (hopefully my last) but couldn't imagine being that vulnerable in a safer place. I will miss knowing I could call him anytime to be rescued from a stormliterally. I will miss his loyalty and support and just for being that ornery uncle you couldn't help but to Love. I will miss hearing him call me Chief ..for which I was truly honored.
I will miss YOU Lenny Len! Rest in Power and Peace. Be easy on the other Angels
Prayers for strength and healing for the entire Family at this very sad time.

I worked with Lenny quite a few years ago. Oddly enough I was just speaking of him just three days ago when I gave a friend some advice that he had told me. He called it the 36 hour rule. It was to curb impulse buying. So if after 36 hours you still wanted or thought you needed something then go for it. I used this advice on both myself and my daughter although it didn't work as well on her.
It is amazing how something you learn from a person can stay with you. Lenny was that type of person. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I had the great privilege to have known and worked with Lenny for a few years at Fire-lite in Northford CT. Lenny was an institution there, he treated that facility as if it was his own. Always at the ready for any facility or emergency issue at the site. Lenny touched so many peoples lives in a positive manner at the site, I know everyone misses him dearly. I especially enjoyed talking with Lenny several times a week not only about business, but also about his family and how proud he was of the lives they shared together. Such a gentleman, he truly enjoyed helping others whether a task or just some good old fashioned solid advice.
Lenny, you'll be missed my friend. May you rest in peace.
My condolences to the Antinozzi family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I can't think of a day when I was in high school that Lenny wasn't with my father (Ed Cotter) or at our house visiting. Both he and Joe were a constant in our life back then and I have nothing but the best of memories. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends, may he rest in peace.

To the Antinozzi Family,
I had the tremendous opportunity to work with Lenny at Honeywell on Fire-Lite Place. I was President for the business, but Lenny was CEO for our facility and that scrappy Facilities team! Lenny was full of class, charm and hard-working humility that made everyone smile and helped our office operate at a brisk, uninterrupted clip.
My favorite memory with Lenny was the myriad of snowstorms we got to work through. He would come into our office (mine and Reggie's, head of integrated supply chain) jumping the afternoon before, and keep us pulsed on the forecast hourly. For the big ones, we would hold con-calls late into the evening, making together sometimes the challenging decision to stay open or close in the interest of safety for our employees whom he fought to protect. But relished the challenge of keeping us open safely! The morning of "snow day" he was at his absolute best. No matter the snowfall's volume - 5 inches or 3 feet - nobody beat Lenny or that jeep into our remote parking lot in a remote neighborhood - no plow or nobody. Lenny and his jeep were always first. His first email report of road and parking lot conditions and cleanup began by 4AM! That first report would always read "well, I am here. And here is what I see...." The rest of the event had no chance against Lenny's preparedness and work ethic.
The rest of the tasks he met with similar charm, enthusiasm and earnestness. Fixing one of the 59 chillers on the roof that have long-out-lived their usefulness, shoveling/ picking huge drifts of ice that threatened to collapse our ceiling, and carrying that ice on giant tarps up to 300 yards from one side of the roof to a safe landing spot below, Lenny never let us down. I always remember that smile and his words, always saying something like "don't worry Boss, we got this." He never failed us.
I am not surprised to read in the Obituary what a family man, a farming man, a fire safety leader and an inspiration to you all that he was. Lenny was indeed an extremely outwardly centric person, concerned much more by the needs of others than himself. It was my pleasure to know him and work with him. The Rief family will hold you all and Lenny up in our prayers. My very best to you.
With sympathy,
Todd Rief
