Lester Wilson
Lester R. Wilson, born in Milford, CT on May 9, 1943, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 24, 2025. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Beatrice Wilson; grandson, Wayne Michael Hamilton, Jr.; son-in-law, Timothy Potts and nephew, Danny Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Wilson; daughter, Robin Potts; son, Steven Wilson; daughter-in-law, Nicole Wilson; granddaughter, Laura; great-grandsons, Logan and Cove; brother, Ernest and his twin brother, Paul. He proudly served in the USAF 1963-1967, and in the Milford, CT Fire Dept. for over 25 years, retiring in 1990 with rank of Captain. Lester and Carol moved to Roswell, GA in 1991 where he enjoyed being a handyman to his church, family, friends and neighbors. He enjoyed caring for his large yard, reading fiction and non-fiction, playing board games, dominos and puzzles. There will be a private family service. In lieu, of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers or Gary Sinese Foundation.
