Lorraine (Liscio) Fonteyn 72 of East Haven passed away January 8, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born June 20, 1945 in New Haven to Paul and Eleanor (Scarano) Liscio. She is preceded in death by her parents and former husband, George Fonteyn Sr. Lorraine is survived by her two loving sons, George Fonteyn Jr. (Fiancé' Theresa Marzullo) of New Haven, Paul Fonteyn (Tracey) of West Haven, a granddaughter, Sabrina Fonteyn (Stephen Sgambati) of Wallingford, also by brothers, Robert Liscio (Judy) of Northford, Paul Liscio of New Jersey, Phil Liscio (Janet) of West Haven, sisters, Mary Ann Van Leir (Jim) of New Jersey, Gerry-Lynne Smith (Wendell) of Wallingford, Heather Liscio-Gilbert (Harry) of Hamden, Gina Cahill (Steve) of Hamden, a brother Rocco Liscio (Jane) of Ansonia, sisters, Dorine Roy of Florida, Joann Droller of Naugatuck, Jenny Crampton of Branford, and is predeceased by brother John Crampton. Lorraine is also survived by her niece, Kendra Gaudreault (Steve) of Northford, a nephew, Robert Liscio Jr. of Northford. Lorraine was Auntie to 44 more nephews and nieces.
Lorraine graduated from stone academy and worked as a claims processor and later on she was a nanny for three beautiful children, she found peace and enjoyment in her family , Church, cooking, and also ceramics, she was loved by all That met her and will Truly be missed.
Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
