Louis Santella, age 56, of West Haven, entered into rest on October 9th, 2025, at Yale New Haven Hospital, with his loving wife, Rose Dinice, by his side.
He was born in Westport, Connecticut, on June 6, 1969, son of Marjorie Santella and the late Louis Santella. He will be remembered by all as a "gentle giant" and a handyman that always had a project he was working on. An avid gym rat, he loved practicing powerlifting alongside his wife. His most treasured moments were spent alongside her, whether it be travelling to places like Las Vegas, Florida, and Bermuda, or enjoying the simpler things in life like fine dining, a relaxing massage, or a night at the movies. Louis also enjoyed spending time outdoors, an avid cyclist and enjoyer of watersports, specifically jet skiing.
Aside from his wife and mother, Louis is survived by his son, LJ Santella, and daughter, Adriana Sanderfoot, and her husband, Joseph. Louis is also survived by his brother, Mark Santella, and his wife, Joan, and their children, Christopher, and Amy, and sister-in-law, Emily, and her two children, William and Elyse. Louis was also predeceased by his brother, Michael Santella.
