Marcia was a wonderful counselor for my two sons as my family went through a divorce. Marcia and I went on to work on her book 'I Think Divorce Stinks'. The goal was to provide pictures for the children to color and talk about h/h feelings. When we last talked she was excited talking to future lawyers to give them a better picture of what children experience during the trauma of divorce. To give them the other side of divorce, the most important side of divorce. She was all about children.

I am so sorry and sad to hear of the loss of this caring woman. Marcia was a wonderful refuge to me as a child. I loved her office in Woodbridge. I felt safe and eager to share and talk with her while I drew pictures that helped process my parent´s divorce. She will be missed greatly.

I always enjoyed seeing Mrs. Lebowitz when she visited our store. Such a kind, lovely lady. May she rest in peace.

Dear Family, I was so saddened to read of Marcia´s passing. She was such a lovely person. After reading the obituary of all her wonderful accomplishments I realized how modest she was. She spoke mostly of her love of family and all the great memories shared especially on beloved Martha´s Vineyard. I knew she was especially proud of helping children of divorce but never boasted of how special that program was. That was Marcia, so modest. As her dental hygienist for many years she was one of my favorite patients, always fascinating and kind. Even after I retired she willingly walked me through a private health problem for which I am eternally grateful. May you Rest In Peace Marcia. You have left a giant footprint with those petite feet! Bless your loving family! Sincerely Gerri Giering

The world is never going to be the same without this incredible advocate for children. While some of us will carry on and spread her message and legacy, we are only poor substitutes. I am so grateful she came to Quinnipiac Law and offered to teach! I will miss our long conversations and collaborations. I will miss her friendship. I am a better person (and lawyer) for knowing her. May her memory be a blessing. Sending much love to the Lebowitz family.
