Marcia Yorks Thomas, born on October 31, 1938, in New Haven, CT, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, at St. Raphael's Hospital after a short illness.
She was the wife of Ralph N. Thomas of Northford (former Fire Chief, NBFD).
She leaves daughters Susan DeFrancesco (Joe) and Kim Thomas; grandchildren - David Curtin (Sarah); Brent Curtin (Beth); John Rossotto; and Leah Rubino (Michael); and Emma Lilley; great-grandchildren - Quinn, Henry, Julia, Charlotte, Hannah, Mila, and Tegan.
Also, sisters, Judy Shields (Phil) and Della Lamoureux (Joe) and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by daughter Kristin Thomas; parents Kenneth and Gertrude Yorks and sisters Virginia Yorks and Sandra Macknis.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tues., October 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Northford Cemetery, Spruce St. in Northford.
