BURIAN, MARGARET “PEGGY” Margaret “Peggy” Harrison Burian 85, of Madison, formerly of East Haven, beloved wife of the late Eugene P. Burian passed away on January 28, 2014 in the Hearth at Tuxis Pond of Madison. Loving mother of Nancy (Richard) Ronne of Westbrook and Bonnie Bottone of Freehold, NJ. Grandmother of Christopher S. (Kara) Ronne, James M. Ronne and Louis G. Bottone III and the late Matthew Ronne. Sister of the late Eileen Harrison and Edward Harrison. Margaret was born in New Haven on August 28, 1928 daughter of the late Edward E. and Margaret Donnelly Harrison. Prior to her retirement Margaret was a customer service representative for the United Illuminating Company. The family would like to express their gratitude to Peggy’s extended family in Keepsake Village at the Hearth at Tuxis Pond for their love, support and extraordinary care during her six years of residence. They also thank Nerisa’s Home Care aides and the staff of VITAS for their assistance and compassion during the last several months. Relatives and friends are invited to A Mass of Christian Burial SATURDAY morning in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:30 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. THERE WILL BE NO CALLING HOURS. Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100 Rocky Hill CT. 06067. Both my Aunt Peggy and Uncle Gene were outstanding people. Always kind and always smiling. We drifted away after I grew to be adult but reconnected somewhat in their later years. I regret I did not do more to stay in touch with my aunt and uncle and my cousins. All great people.
