MARIE MELILLO FROSCENO

Marie Melillo Frosceno, 80 of Del Ray Beach, FL, formerly of Hamden and East Haven died Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Del Ray Medical Center after a long illness. Marie was born in New Haven on May 26, 1936, a daughter of the late Fred and Josephine Nuzzo Melillo. She had resided in Hamden for twenty five years, East Haven for twenty years, and in Del Ray Beach for the past fifteen years. Marie was a retired traffic auditor for G&O Manufacturing formerly of New Haven and Orange. She is survived by one daughter, Cara Coughlin and her companion Howard Heathcote, one son, Benedict "Benny" Frosceno, Jr. and his wife Jacquelyn of East Haven, her best friend and brother Fred Melillo of Boca Raton, FL, five grandchildren, Crystal Coughlin, Jessica (Dan) Wheeler, John Coughlin, Jr., Benedict (Brittany Squires) Frosceno, III, and Nicholas Frosceno, two great granddaughters, Morgan and Camryn Wheeler, and one step great granddaughter, Zaria Kee. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Kelly Kathleen Coughlin, her former husband Benedict Frosceno, Sr., and her longtime partner Anthony Calvano. Funeral services for Marie are private.
