Marie Misiasz

Misiasz, Marie "Babe" Iannuzzi Marie "Babe" Iannuzzi Misiasz, 82, of West Haven, beloved wife of the late John P. Misiasz, passed away peacefully at her home, September 20, 2012 with her family at her side. She was born in New Haven on November 24, 1929, daughter of Gaetano "Frank" and Katherine Buemi Iannuzzi. She loved caring for and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, John P. Misiasz Jr. of West Haven; her daughters, Kathryn Smith (Edmond) of Chicago Heights, IL, Laura Rivellini (Charles) of Woodbridge, Lisa Misiasz of West Haven, Dina Ardito (Ronald) of New Haven, Jacqueline Landino (Daniel) of West Haven and Patricia Misiasz of New Haven; her sister, Adelaide Branchini of North Reading, MA; six grandchildren, Lara Marie, Bryn Laura and Daniel James Landino, John Peter III, and Christopher Anthony Misiasz and Paige Marie Gambardella. She was predeceased by her brothers, Donald and Anthony Iannuzzi; and her sister, Barbara Panagrossi. Her funeral will be from Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven on Monday at 8:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at St. Louis Catholic Church, West Haven. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
