CELENTANO, MARY B. PELLEGRINO Mary B. Pellegrino Galdenzi Celentano, 93, a long time resident of East Haven, formerly of Branford entered into rest on October 22, 2015. Mary was born October 27,1921 a daughter of the late Nicholas and Marianne Pellegrino. She was the wife of the late Anio Galdenzi and the late Louis Celentano. She is survived by her four loving daughters, Beverly Warner (Robert) of South Carolina, formally of East Haven, Barbara Brustman (Robert) of Guilford, Brenda Laden of Southington and Mary D’Amico of Meriden. Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great -great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her twin sister- Josephine Meade of East Haven, Elizabeth Franco, of East Haven and sister-in-law Roseanne Galdenzi of North Haven. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, friends and caring neighbors. She was predeceased by her brothers, Louis and Ralph Pellegrino and sisters, Philomina Pellegrino, Madeline Cappiello, Martha Brangi, Theresa D’Onofrio and Christine Hazard. Mary was educated at the former Boardman Trade School and became a self employed Master Seamstress for many years. You could always hear Country Music playing in her sewing room while she was working. She also loved Tag Sales, Bingo and an occasional Sunday ride to the casino. A special thanks to Dr. Lam, her Doctor and friend for over 20 years, and all those who gave support and loving care during Mary’s life and final days. Services and burial are private.
